How does the alcohol work in Texas?

In Texas, clients purchase and pay for their alcohol directly. We provide the remaining bar essentials included in the selected package, which may include the bar, bartenders, mixers, garnishes, ice, cups, menus, setup, and cleanup. We also provide a customized shopping list once your drink menu and alcohol preferences are finalized.

For an even easier experience, add our Alcohol Concierge Service. We prepare and place the recommended order; you review, approve, and pay the retailer directly, and our team coordinates pickup and delivery to the event.

Can you help us decide what alcohol and drinks to serve?

Absolutely. After more than 650 events, we understand what guests tend to enjoy based on the season, event time, age mix, cultural traditions, and the preferences you share with us. We use those details to help create your menu and personalized shopping list.

Should we include a mocktail?

We strongly encourage including at least one thoughtfully crafted mocktail. More guests are choosing not to drink alcohol but still want to feel included. A beautiful mocktail gives them something more memorable than soda or water and looks just as special as your signature cocktails.

Do your bartenders circulate and serve drinks?

Our bartenders’ primary responsibility is to remain behind the bar preparing beverages, keeping the bar organized, and monitoring responsible alcohol service. At smaller events, when service allows, we may occasionally circulate with cocktails or collect empty cups as a courtesy. For continuous tray-passed cocktails, table service, or glassware collection, dedicated cocktail servers may be added to your proposal.

Why does the alcohol remain behind the bar?

For safe and responsible service, alcohol remains behind the bar under our team’s supervision, especially when minors are present. Our bartenders use consistent pours, monitor service, check identification when appropriate, and handle sensitive situations gracefully. If alcohol is placed at a self-service station, the arrangement must be approved in advance, and the client assumes responsibility for alcohol served outside our supervised bar area.

Are pets allowed near the bar?

We love pets, but animals must be secured away from the bar and working areas during setup and breakdown and may not enter the space behind the bar. This protects the animals, our staff, and your guests while equipment is being moved.

Can you create a custom cocktail for the party?

Yes—custom drinks are our specialty. We can serve up to six signature cocktails, mocktails, or a combination of both, depending on your selected package and service plan. Tell us the guest of honor’s favorite flavors and we’ll help design the menu, name the drinks, and create a polished printed menu for the celebration.

How many bartenders will we need?

As a guide, one bartender for intimate gatherings and two for around 75+ guests. We confirm the right team size in your free consultation.

Can you set up in a backyard or at home?

Yes. We serve homes, backyards, clubhouses, and private venues across Houston, Katy, Sugar Land, Fulshear, Richmond, Cypress, and The Woodlands. If you’re nearby, ask—we travel. Travel fees may apply to venues located more than 40 miles from our Houston-area home base.

Give someone responsibility for the music

A professional DJ—or one designated person whose only job is managing the music—keeps the celebration flowing. A friend or family member may become distracted while socializing or naturally choose the music they personally enjoy.

Keep outdoor guests comfortable

During warmer months, plan for fans, shade, or consistent airflow. Overheated guests cannot enjoy the celebration the way you intended, while comfortable guests stay longer and have more fun.

Plan for plenty of water

We recommend at least two eight-ounce water bottles per guest. Smaller bottles are easier to finish, while 16-ounce bottles are often left half-full and discarded. Additional guest refreshments may also be included in your proposal.

Professional bartending encourages responsible drinking

In more than 650 events, we have encountered only a couple of situations requiring additional attention. Guests generally drink more responsibly when beverages are prepared by professional bartenders instead of through a self-service bar. We use consistent pours, monitor service, and handle concerns discreetly and professionally.

Let one professional team handle the essentials

When clients supply their own mixers, ice, or cups, they sometimes purchase too little, choose the wrong cup size, or forget an essential item. Having one professional team coordinate the bar helps prevent missing mixers, insufficient ice, unsuitable cups, and last-minute problems.

Know exactly what your bartending company provides

Review the proposal and contract carefully. Confirm who provides the mixers, ice, cups, garnishes, tools, staffing, setup, cleanup, and mobile bar. Choosing an established company with detailed agreements, strong communication, insurance, and verified Google reviews gives you greater peace of mind.

Something may begin ten minutes late, and someone may forget an item. We cannot promise that every part of an event will happen perfectly—but we can promise that your bar will be prepared, polished, and ready.
